Good Evening Goodgymmers! Today Pieter and I went to a lovely mission to help Mr. M. Mr M had recently had a fall, and needed his bed to be moved to the living room to allow him to come home from hospital. Mr M's sister D was there to help us, and was utterly grateful for our presence.

The mission itself was simple enough. Move the sofa's out of the way and get a bed in from the next room, so Mr M, could be in one room so his carer's could help him. However, Pieter and I are engineers, so we decided to...over engineer it. We tried the couch in two positions and debated the stability of piling one sofa on another. Thank's to Ms D's helpful suggestions, we quickly found a good configuration. It invollved piling the sofa into a pile which made a pile which was approximately my height. I'm so short, the guys at the bike store once offered to sell me kid's bike to save on VAT. We also took a quick moment to have a giggle at Mr. M's doormat to his living room, which read, "I like it dirty". I think we would get along with Mr. M.

Pieter had made a visit back to Belgium, and because he usually comes back with chocolate, I spent most of the mission yelling "WHERE IS MY CHOCOLATE?" at him. Clearly this form of intimidation works because we popped back in to his house to get some. (It doesn't, Pieter just knows how much I like his baby and cats and was nice enough to let me pop in). As a result this was the best mission ever. His lovely wife had just finished bathing his baby! So I got to play peek-a-boo with his little girl through his garden window, and was rewarded with the best smile. And then his wife offered me some leftover pie and and then Pieter put some chocolate into a bag to take home with me. It was quite a lot, including the chocolate you put in a pain au chocolate. I think he meant it to last me quite a while - sorry Pieter, it barely made the bus ride home! I also now know where they store their chocolate, so I am now planning an elaborate Home alone style burglary. Note to all other Goodgymmers - never let me in your house if you have chocolates, I turn into a post midnight gremlin.

And there you have it, another fun and awesome mission :). Thanks Pieter for a really fun mission!

I feel this report digressed a little with Mridula's love of chocolate (never a bad thing). Overall an amazingly lovely mission. Well done Pieter and Mridula!
