mini TED TALKS III

Well we’ve had 2 mini TED TALKS so far - both have been really well supported and received by GG Sheff.

And this one could be one of the best.

First off we’ve got Sarah Louise with “Positive Mental Health Strategies” - so important to all of us at any time, but especially so now.

Next, give a big Sheffield welcome to Charly, who had signed up to Lynwood Gardens as her 1st GG just as we went into lockdown. By chance she recently met some of the GG swimmers at a Crookes Valley Park swim and has now done her 1st community mission. Good Gym knows Lynwood as a regular running task. And the pub above was, of course, the founding site of Bad Gym! But Charly knows it as she teaches at the outdoors school there - hence her talk “Forest School”.

And finally, George gives us “Bats” - Chiroptera not cricket - the only mammal that truly flys. Learn more about this fascinating animal.
