Last Thursday, 2 amazing members braved hours in the pouring rain to support the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine programme in Crewe.

Their role was to marshal the car park and guide patients as they arrived for their vaccines, which they did with a smile despite being rained upon!

Once again, some of the most vulnerable and elderly people from our community arrived for their injections and it was Maurice & Rob’s job to guide and assist them into car parking spaces and into the building.

Once again, it was an honour and privilege to be involved in something of this magnitude. Rob and Maurice both really enjoyed the opportunity and I know they’ll be back for more (in fact, I think they’ve already signed up!).

Well done to you both. You’re Community Heroes!! ❤️
