Home4USpace4U provides a welcoming place for refugees and people who are seeking asylum. They offer friendship and support, English classes, recreational activities, a simple hot meal and practical help and information.
Their clients are deeply traumatised having fled their countries and families. The current hostile environment of the HomeOffice means they wait long periods for decisions. Without accommodation some are homeless. A warm, clean place to stay is essential and painting these flats will make it a home.
Wales and West Housing Association are providing them with two flats but they need painting throughout. Where appropriate they would want to encourage refugee volunteers to help as well.
