4 GoodGymers - Tony, Tracey, Lynn and Judy - tackled the litter trapped behind fencing alongside a popular footpath through central Portsmouth. Countless cans, plastic and glass bottles had been thrown over the fence, out of the reach of the street-cleaners, as well as wind-blown litter. It was quite a Krypton Factor challenge to pass the bottles up the inside of the fence in order to release them at the top! We made several trips to the nearby recycling bins and the bottle bank as we filled our bags with liberated rubbish and after an hour we had only cleared about half of the length of the footpath. After taking a Bohemian Rhapsody-inspired selfie, we pledged to return again to finish what we started!
