The litter pick at "McDonald's Corner" on Great Salterns started with a McDonald's bag but less takeaway rubbish than normal in that particular space. Harry was straight into the bushes to fish out a load of old cans for recycling. It was all the usual suspects (bottles packaging, poo bags 💩 😔) until we headed left into the wood where we found a torn up book, condom packets (romance isn't dead...) and a petrol can as well as a CD... Smash hits summer 99 (track listing here if you're wondering...). We also found one shoe and one sock!

Other interesting finds came a little later when we discovered a dismantled first aid kit and some packaging of very expensive goods including a receipt from Harrod's. We were tempted to use the Laboutin shoe bag to put the trainer in...

We decided to find a phrase that described us (in the the title) but if you just use the letters as an acronym it accurately describes the people leaving the litter!!

Next week's pick is lead by Jo and at the RNLI, the following week is at Kingston Rec.
