Getting fit, while exploring the city together. Check it out - who doesn't love a checkpoint?

Date and time
18:00 - 18:05In catching up with one of our Community Mission Task Leaders Jane from Alexandra Road Community Garden this week, she recommended a great free initiative to support fitness this summer - Beat the Street: https://www.beatthestreet.me/sheffield/
What's involved: Beat the Street is a fun, free initiative that will see Sheffield transformed into a giant game! Let's see how far we can walk, cycle, run in 6 weeks. There are great challenges to enjoy. The game will start on 16 June and end on 28 July 2021.
The game can be played individually and in teams. We are setting up a GoodGym Team. We just need a minimum of 12 participants in our team :) I'm not aware of there being a limit on team member numbers. The more the merrier :) Over the coming weeks we hope to set up a number of training runs to explore the city together (in compliance with permitted covid social distancing restrictions).
Please sign up to this event to support tracking who is in our Team. You just need to register by the evening of the 15th June in advance of the 16th :)
How do I join the GoodGym Sheffield Beat the Street Team? GET READY: Individually register at: https://www.beatthestreet.me/signup/ Go collect your card to be used in the game at various locations available across Sheffield. SET: Link your card to the Beat the Street Sheffield GoodGym Team online. GO: Get out and start exploring to find check points individually and hopefully on our Team training runs to collectively contribute.
We'll set up a number of training sessions over the weeks so please look out for and sign up to these :)
