We're not GoodGym sLOSEdon we're GoodGym sWINdon!

Okay okay I admit it, it was not my own work and I 'borrowed' it from the radio. I just had to hope that the GoodGymers of Swindon had something better to do on a Saturday night than to listen to a quiz that was on a local BBC radio station or had a listen via the BBC Sounds app!

The quiz was simple - four rounds of general knowledge with five questions in each round. So the question was...

• Who could out master the Mastermind?
• Would someone cough when the right answer was mentioned?
• Could someone out chase the Chaser?

But first this week's icebreaker was to mention the song that makes you run to the radio and switch it off! Once again we proved to be an eclectic bunch (especially Cath dressed up in her bee outfit) with anything from Minnie Riperton to punk, Boney M to the Birdy Song, Stevie Wonder to S Club 7!

Finally, The Chase was on...

• After rounds one and two the joint leaders were Richard, the combined efforts of Emma and Simon and Jo
• After round three Richard and Jo were still ahead
• And after the final round, the winner by half a point was....Jo!

Congratulations Jo!

A good old natter followed as we discussed the lockdown, parkrun and virtual runs (Runderwear anyone?!) and milestone birthdays, escaping the madness for a couple of hours.
