Lovely to join the Friends of Cator Park volunteers for a couple of hours of litter picking, hedgerow tidying and mushroom spotting this morning. My first time using a litter picker – what a handy tool! We covered a lot of ground, searching out rubbish under shrubs and in undergrowth around the borders of the park. A couple of families passing by said thank you, so it was nice to know our efforts were appreciated.
