Hop, snip and dump

Energetic efforts in Alexandra Recreation Ground this weekend resulted in an impressive collection of weeds and unwanted prickly plants, ready for dumping in garden waste bins. Goodgymers Laura and Linda worked as a team with the Friends of the Park as well as a local school student putting in volunteer hours towards his Duke of Edinburgh Award. Linda enjoyed her first bike ride to a Bromley task and Laura went home with some rescued hops as pretty inspiration for a flower arrangement!
