A classic interval session to start 2021 off on the right foot!

Kenyan Hills

Wonderful training session, fantastic for training different muscle groups when conditioning for ups and downs!

Begin your session with an easy jog warm up, and try to implement a few full body dynamic drills to engage your arms, shoulders, legs and glutes!

For example:

Arm Windmills (forwards and back) Springs High knees Butt kicks Hamstring sweeps

Find a hill!

This could be short and steep, or a gradual climb. The type of elevation will dictate the type of workout this will be (slower paced climbs or quicker extended efforts).

The session consists of:

10-15 minutes hills (up and down the slope, or looping around a series of hills)

3 minutes rest

10-15 minutes hills (up and down the slope, or looping around a series of hills)

2 minutes easy jog to cool down

I like this training session. I always end up doing them by myself without any structure though, so i'll try this out tomorrow morning
