This was the third week of volunteering for the amazing Claire House Hospice in their sorting centre. Pauline and Matthew were essentially sorting clothes and bric-a-brac into rags, discount and high end goods, for sending on to their shops. As old timers this week we were able to sort through things much quicker and with another experienced volunteer, the lovely Caroline we actually got through all of the bags. And with the lovely Sara and Katie overseeing everything, we had a great time and got to chat with other volunteers like Keith, who is a dab hand with sorting through the DVD's. There is something quite addictive about doing this so if anyone wants to give it a go please note there is a Super Saturday Day Session in February.

Most notable event of the day was Matthew almost flushing his glasses down the toilet. Thanks to quick reactions the disaster was averted. What's not to like as chocolates were handed out at the end.
