We weren't going to let the doon and gloom of yesterday's announcement nor the weather get is down when there was work and chat to be had at Eastville Park.

Pauline put her Chartered Engineer of Bridges skills to good use in safely constructing the scaffold tower and platform for other GGers to scamper up with their scrapers to get pesky peeling paint off the wall of the Nissen Hut.

Jason got to plant a tree and collect up leaves, Richard scampered around the pavilion roof and Nathalie was part of the team exercising their core muscles up on high.

It was Laura's first ever GoodGym task and we're hoping she'll soon be back, as were Meg and Sophie on their second good deeds. Laura said, "We had a very satisfying time scraping old flaky paint off an external wall. Lovely Sunday morning, hopefully we can continue to make progress in future weeks."

Finished off with a tidy up and round of tea and coffee, all before the rain came sown. Here's to lots more community support during a testing November.
