Getting the garage (and the tunes) in order

Re-rewind... this goes out to all the Goodgymers...

...Of a certain age!

DISCLAIMER: This post will either make you cringe with all the over-egged references, or make your Body Groove!

This week's visit to St Anthony's Church, the Antz Kidz Activity Centre and its task - involving a garage - got us thinking about a very different type of garage and some of the best tunes from back in the day!

And as we got to work moving the room's contents from one side to the other to sweep the floor, we proved to be quite the So Solid Crew as we sorted the items so they were organised and stored correctly, or thrown out. The objects in question included everything from DVDs and CDs to nativity ornaments, toys (including a rather creepy doll) and sweets...although we weren't sure if the latter were Sweet Like Chocolate.

At one point though, one of us was Movin' Too Fast, leading to a vase breaking... Oh No (That's The Word).... Though this didn't stop us from still having a smashing time! And by the end of the session, with A Little Bit Of Luck and lots of Sweet Female Attitude we had transformed the room from slightly disordered to ordered. To celebrate we even did a little Champagne Dance.

As always, our wonderful task owners proved they weren't a Heartless Crew rewarding Girls Like Us with a Boom Selection of refreshments at the end. They do not need to do this, but we are nonetheless ever so grateful for their generosity. In fact, We're Lovin' It Lovin It Lovin' It... and look forward to seeing them next week as we truly enjoy supporting them in their worthwhile work in the community. Gotta Get Thru the rest of the week first though!
