Jenny is doing a grand job of improving her cycle confidence and arrived on her bike. Linda still struggling with her cycle confidence opted to drive this time.

Neither of our allottment experts had been able to join us so it was left to us to decide what to do. Knowing some gardeners weeds can be some nature lovers wild flowers left us a little nervous about what to attack and what to leave in. Deciding that common grass has no place in anyones flowerbed we found the grassiest one and set about degrassing it.

Unlike most of the recent gardening missions the weather was beautiful for the time of year. At times we were joined by a robin, a squirrel and the scariest looking cat you have ever seen, sadly they were all camera shy. It didnt take long for the flowerbed to be grass free and tidy looking. We both agreed we felt we had made a difference.
