Tro"pig"cal weather at Surrey Docks farm

Today, Rebecca and I went to help out at Surrey Docks farm. We were met by Kate who had a list of tasks for us. Despite there only being two of us, we accomplished a lot! We sorted some old wood, deciding between what need to go to the dump and what should go into the wood pile. We also moved some soil from an old bed, and tidied it up. The task that we spent the most time on was turning compost - this was hard work in the heat!

Finally we were treated to some time with the animals. We fed tomatoes to the chickens, apples to the pigs, and then had some cuddles with the goats! 😍
