Who this task will support
Friends of Wormholt Park
FOWP plant flowers and plants in our local park to encourage biodiversity and give pleasure to local residents. We organise planting/weeding sessions and also run bird walks, small events and other community activities to encourage an understanding of nature. GoodGym have helped us before (requested by Vanessa Hampton) but I cannot find the details on this site. FOWP created a very successful wild flower meadow in 2018 but this now needs extensive preparation for some Autumn planting then further planting next Spring.

Were heading back to Wormholt Park for the first time I believe since the pandemic to help with maintenance around the park.

This is a starter session for those who want to get stuck into the work of Goodgym.

As it is starting to get a little darker and damper please bring suitable clothing, both water resistant and luminescent.

Please also bring gloves though some will be provided if needed. Some form of luminescence, like a headtorch, would be useful but not essential.
