Following on from Tuesday's Bag Behaviour Thursday was the next opportunity to help out LinkagePlus with delivering meals to neighbouring residents.

This particular task was most convenient due to the flexible start time (between 11:30am -> 1pm) meaning I set off from work (from home) at a convenient time arriving at Sonali Gardens just before 12, in the blazing midday sun on the hottest day of the year ☀️

I had a chat with the lovely Joynul who lined up a couple of parcels for me to deliver in the Wapping area. Since it was such a nice day and I wasn't in any hurry to get back to sitting inside in front of a keyboard, I decided to deliver the parcels on foot appreciating the wonderful area of Wapping.

One of the residents wasn't in but I was able to call her from outside the door, and posted it through the railings as she said she was on the way home and would be feasting on her much appreciated lunch very shortly.

Due to the timing I didn't bump into Johnny, Jack, Jennifer or Frankie but massive thanks to you all for helping out with the dispersed deliveries.

They do these deliveries every Tuesday and Thursday so keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities very soon, which are particularly valuable as their usual volunteers numbers are dwindling as more and more are returning to work. Due to the flexibility with timing this is an ideal task to slot into an active lunch break 🏃 🚴
