After a lovely, sunny Finsbury Parkrun, eleven GoodGymmers, including runners from Barnet, Camden, Haringey, Redbridge and even Cardiff, wandered around the corner to Parkland Walk.

Our task there was to clear brambles from an area of grassland. This will allow wildflowers to grow and attract pollinators. The majority of the team got to work chopping up the brambles and using them to make a massive spiky pile to be carried down a hill. Rob and Rupesh got the special privilege of weilding huge mattocks to dig out the roots of the brambles.

It was a great morning of conquering brambles in excellent company.
