On a lovely sunny Saturday morning, five goodgymers met at Ravenscourt Park to help the Friends of the Walled Garden at their monthly gardening session. We welcomed the lovely Amy for her first GoodGym task - so great to meet you!

Amelia of the Friends of the Walled Garden group explained that our task today was to help clearing the bindweed from the beds, which is a job we are very familiar with at GoodGym. We worked hard to clear as much as we could, whilst chatting about allsorts - mostly telling stories about GoodGym tasks to give Amy a flavour of the things we get up to. All was going well until Cookie started talking about pigeon corpses... whoops! 😂

We spent an hour and a half chatting and weeding (with a short interlude to consume some delicious homemade cake that Amelia had brought 🍰) before calling it a morning and heading to the garden centre for a well-deserved coffee and snack. Great work this morning everyone! Hopefully see you again soon - keep your eyes peeled for our next task, which will be at Furnivall Gardens on Tuesday evening (listing will be up soon!)
