Brooms available at the Hotel Caledonia

An amazing 7 GoodGym runners met to give the previously neglected East side of Market Rd Gardens some attention. Continuing the hard work of Octopus Communities and the mighty GoodGym Islington, we swept away some rubble from the paths, got rid of litter and collected lots of leaves for the compost heap. The area looked much tidier after our hard work and we hope it will be especially enjoyed by the children and families that use the Hayward adventure playground at the back of the garden.

For Latoya, Liz and myself this task marked the completion of our GoodGym/RED January challenge where we have been active and done a GoodGym good deed every day this month. I've enjoyed every one of these tasks, being outside and working with such an incredible team.
