On a damp and windy morning (what's new in Sheffield?....) Andrew and I met to do a little mission for Mrs A. The task? Moving a planter from its current position to under her window, so she could her holly bush. Simple.

On arrival, we were shown the area at the back of the house and realized Mrs A could also do with a little bit of help weeding her small patio. We decided to tackle this first. In no time at all, we'd cleared most of the weeds (though we'd gotten rather muddy in the process). Tackling the planter was a little bit more complicated as it was quite heavy.

"Did I tell you what I thought when they told me a girl was coming?" - Mrs A doubted my shifting skills at first as her son hadn't been able to move the planter on his own. We told her not to worry. "We're old pros at this kind of stuff!"

Andrew very quickly sussed out that we could move it across the patio with a series of rotational pushes. Hitting a few literal snags on the way, we'd soon positioned it in the right place. We were then offered a cup of tea for our efforts, and had quite a lengthy chat with Mrs A about her love of country music and her two visits to Nashville!
