Liverpool

Mission

Another really satisfying Mission for a really vulnerable kindly and gentle man

I am becoming used to seeing so many people struggling just to survive and we are only really scratching the surface. I do wonder how many more people are struggling in silence and behind closed doors. It was nice to meet F this morning therefore and to help tidy up and weed and cut down plants for him. He is on the autistic spectrum so that was a challenge for him and myself but I took my time and made sure we both knew and agreed what we were going to do. I got to work and cleared the front garden and tidied up as much of the back garden as I could. Another visit will be needed but next time hopefully two of us will go along and we will be able to tackle some plants, which have really got out of control and some ivy, which has taken over the back wall and needs removing. Great to be out helping those who are in much more need than myself. And in all the excitement I forgot to take a selfie and so you are getting one of me from my archive.
