Wildcat Wilderness
Wild Cat Wilderness is a community green space in Catford coordinated by the Rushey Green Time Bank. It is a natural wilderness on your doorstep, which you can help shape and get involved in. It is your community space where you can explore nature and the wildlife, play or relax in its peacefulness, learn new outdoor skills or crafts, share and enjoy the space with other local people of all ages, cultures, faiths and abilities.

Our friends at Wildcat Wilderness need our help at the Urban Harvest Festival. There are lots of things to get involved in, including:

Unveiling of our wild wonder wall our community art project at 12

A children’s nature trail around the Wilderness

Apple picking

*Apple pressing and juice making

Creative/ art activities in our classroom including leaf printing and Pom Pom making

*Make a hop wreath

Visit our garden and learn about organic growing

*Herbal teas, coffee and homemade cordial

Learn how to make a vegetarian chilli with Laura Tilbury and then buy some for lunch

*Bbq sausage in a roll

*Buy our wilderness jams, chutneys and preserves

Those with * are the tasks that require our help. If you would like to volunteer with any of these on the day please contact Maria wcw@rgtb.org.uk to confirm timings.
