Growing Communities Project

Growing Communities is all about building connections between people and the land through growing vegetables, plants and trees. Their site off Parkwood Road in Golcar is being cultivated to produce vegetables which are used by other local people and community organisations.

GoodGym will be here for our third visit - checking on the potato beds we dug over on previous visits and helping with other jobs, which may involve setting up the new polytunnel! There is always plenty to do and you will be assured of a great workout in glorious surroundings. So get your gardening gloves on and run, walk or ride over to Golcar to do yet another good job in our local community,

How are you getting there?

I love running and volunteering. It is a great way to meet people and make your community a little nicer!
