I joined Ben at Oak Park in Walsall Wood for the penultimate litter pick organised by Walsall Community Litter Watch for the Great British September Clean. We split into two groups, tackling the car park first and finding lots of KFC wrappers thanks to the nearby takeaway. We found loads of litter next to the skate park and took a long walk picking by the football pitches and the perimeter of the playing field to collect some more. On our way back we got a bit of upper body training as the clear bags given to us were very full and heavy. We reunited on the car park to find that we had filled 8 bags between us, to bring a running total of over 600 bags collected in Walsall through September.
