Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

What a PERFECT day for our 2021 return to the Lido!! Lots blue sky and a range of new, enthusiastic volunteers (in addition to Goodgym) came to help the Lido get ready to reopen.

We had a preview of our task list for the weeks ahead and kicked off the shifting and cleaning of some old swing changing room doors, ready to be sanded and repainted for the next stage of their transformation.

The smaller doors had to be extracted from the rather packed 'mini gloom room' (official name). They were carried out into the sunshine through a combination of lifting, wheeling and 'rolling' (as much as you can roll a rectangle) - the latter proving to be the winner!

We had fun getting the grime off car wash style with a hose, sponges and soapy buckets without soaking each other / flooding the area too much.. 15 mostly clean doors (both sides! ) are now ready to go!

Good times in good company as always.
