Gorgeous sunny Monday lunchtime in Staple Hill for Roz and I as we arrived at Mrs J’s house from opposite directions, Roz having Yo-biked up from town.

Mrs J feared that her hovver mower would not work and that we’d have to use the hand mower but we were in luck as the hovver fired up first time.

This made light work of the small lawns giving us plenty of time to weed, rake and trim to make Mrs J’s garden look nice and tidy again.

Mrs J kept us fuelled with some much appreciated fizzy orange and seemed very happy with our efforts, spending some time to chat with us while we worked.

Splendid!
