Four GoodGymmers joined Richard, from Royds Hall Community Orchard, to help free fruit trees from some rampant brambles that had really taken over. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the blossom was in full bloom. We quickly set to work, Kati and Louise were cutting back brambles from the front, and David, Zena and Richard attacked from the back. There was the occasional scream as someone got scratched by a thorn but we made quick work of freeing four trees. There is still more work to be done so watch out for another GoodGym mission at Royds Hall Orchard in the next couple of months! Thank you to David for the report title and Louise for some of the photos.
