Weeding Between the Cracks

Mrs J has a garden which is currently not safe to be accessed or used, as it is full of big weeds. The grass area is overgrown with weeds, plants and bushes. Mrs J has not been out in her garden at all this year, so my task was to clear the area so that she can enjoy her garden, which will improve her mental health. I was met by Mrs J's lovely sister-in-law , who provided me with tools, instructions and priorities. After cutting back an elder tree trying to worm it's way down the side of the house, I started clearing all the grasses and weeds growing up between the paving slabs in the large patio. On such a hot day there was a welcome break for an ice lolly half way through. At the end of the session, the patio had been cleared and swept, and is now accesssible. Hopefully this can be re-listed so that a return trip can be made to tackle the lawn area and make that accessible too.
