Today I visited Mrs. D once again. We didn't waste time and started chatting straight away.
We started by discussing "Strictly", as we both like watching it, loving all the glitter and glamour but also amazed by the hard work that the celebrities put in, along with the courage they have, when doing all those spectacular lifts!

Then we slipped back in time and Mrs D was telling me that they also had a couple of dogs at different times. I know I have only mentioned fluffy felines so far... sorry little doggies! One of them used to be particularly helpful and, when the postman would slip the letters through the door, he would grab them to pull them through, puncturing them in the process. So all the letters, including postcards and Xmas cards would end up marked by dog teeth or punctured and slobbered over! So much so that they decided to have a "litterbox" (oops, a letterbox) fitted outside!
