Sign up to volunteer at Tesco Heanor, handing out FareShare 'shopping lists' with suggested donations. Customers can then buy items from this list to leave at the in-store food collection at the end of their shop. This food is taken to the nearest FareShare Regional Centre where volunteers sort it to then redistribute it to 3500 charities across the country.

IMPORTANT ADDITiONAL SIGN UP* Please ensure that you are also signed up through the FareShare website and registered for a particular slot. https://fareshare.org.uk/foodcollection

Once on the FareShare website, type in the postcode DE75 7EX and scroll down to see a spreadsheet embedded on the page with shifts available to sign up for. Please check the website is displaying shifts for 'Heanor' as the store option.

Volunteering can be done from 15-17th July, this Community Mission is for Saturday 17th July from 9am-12pm to give an alternative time to another mission at Derby Mickleover during the week, but please feel to look at other volunteering shifts and list them as something you've done as an individual through GoodGym.

This task has been a huge success previously with GoodGym helping FareShare collect thousands of donations in stores up and down the country!

Upon arrival at the store please report to customer services to sign in and collect anything needed for the task.
