Litter pick AND leafleting in St Thomas
Lets do a double task, really helping out in St Thomas, spreading local community news and clear up litter!
Please note that this group run has been cancelled.
Welcome to GoodGym Exeter! We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects in our area.
The Task:
This week we will help delivering St Thomas Newsletter, which is out for the first time ever in the area, sharing news about community events and ideas to local residents. At the same time as we do this we will also do a community litter pick, giving the residential streets a big tidy up! Come and join the fun!
The Run/walk:
GoodGym is for everyone. We welcome runners of all abilities and it is often possible to walk to the task if you would prefer. We always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is. This week the run is 4 k and there is only one of two small hills that you can walk up if needed. We will also do a little fitness session at the end! So much fun! Come and join us!

Exeter
New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Group run cancellation
Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations.
**All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future**
This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection.
We will continue to update this page with our most up to date guidance:
