10 GG Yorkies braved the unpredictable Bank Holiday Monday weather to head to Gale Farm Court. We love visiting these guys and keeping their communal areas in tip top condition for the residents to enjoy.

Last year we had pulled up a tree and bush. An orchard had been planted in their place, but the surrounding ivy was starting to encroach, and weeds were popping up between the paving slabs. We managed to tidy all this up, so the residents will be able to access the orchard and look after the trees.

In the courtyard, the recent sun and rain had caused the weeds to go wild amongst the beautiful flowers. We stripped out the weeds and hopefully the colourful flowers will be able to bloom.

We headed out, with an hour to spare until the York GoodGym group run. There was a vote, and it was decided that ice cream was definitely required before any more good was done.
