This is 'Pasta' joke!

So today it was what is becoming my usual shift at the Birmingham Central Foodbank. I have to say that I really enjoy Friday mornings with these guys and hopefully can continue to do this as often as possible. So, to start with we made up some food packages ready for clients but then it was the small task of sorting over 12 trays of Pasta into date order! This is to ensure we use the items with the least shelf life first and do our best to limit the amount of wastage due to them running out of date. It was a great team effort and in no time at all, we moved onto the tinned vegetables! I then got to star in a bit of a 'movie' that was being filmed by the Foodbank manager with me passing over some food packages to a client. Not exactly Tom Cruise stuff but I did my best! After that, it was time for some tidying up and then the shift came to a close.
