Well, it was quite a quiet day at the TAWS foodbank, so dash is rather an exaggeration. It was far more of a saunter as I helped to pack food parcels for a couple of hours, taking the chance to chat with other volunteers and employees doing the same, in the relaxed atmosphere. The splash was all real on the run in and back home, avoiding large puddles by the pavement and the cars threatening to launch the attractive liquid over me as I ran. Before I left, I had to get a picture of TAWS’ motivational tag line - We Rise By Lifting Others. I’ll take that thought into the weekend!
