Delivering Hot Meals

We’ve been asked to deliver some hot meals to sheltering older people (and one blind lady and someone with a weak immune system) by Bright Morning Star Outreach (you may have seen/done one of the Pret/Greggs delivery missions we do with them) and the London Community Response Fund

This is a great chance to deliver a bit of joy to someone on a Saturday afternoon!

There are 4 different journeys to different places between 3 and 6km, all starting near Stockwell Station.

  • JOURNEY 1 TO CLAPHAM: 3km (1 drop off)

  • JOURNEY 2 TO PECKHAM: 5km (2 drop offs)

  • JOURNEY 3 TO HERNE HILL VIA BRIXTON: 4km (2 drop offs but 3 meals)

  • JOURNEY 4 TO NUNHEAD VIA DULWICH: 6km (2 drop offs)

IMPORTANT: WHEN SIGNING UP, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW WHICH JOURNEY YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO AND CHECK NO ONE ELSE WANTS TO DO THE SAME ONE. Thanks :) - Obviously if you’re happy with any, please say!

You’re welcome to walk, run or cycle and I’d advise bringing a good sized rucksack to carry the meals 🎒

Lola, who volunteers for Bright Morning Star Outreach will have the meals at her flat, which is the pickup venue. Please arrive at 4pm.

How are you getting there?
