This was a long trip, I had set out to run 20k to get some shopping for Mrs.N in Ealing. That plan was a bit of a disaster and I walked for the majority of it, after stupidly tripping and getting gravel stuck in my hand.

There was a few obstacles on route..l lost my way, I needed to find somewhere to wash my hands, my phone battery was dying and it started tipping it with rain. Despite all of this ,I tried to stay in good spirits and I focused on getting to Mrs.N’s flat.

I finally arrived at Mrs.N’s flat, where she greeted me with a list; however she seemed more concerned about me. I reassure her that I was okay and that I would do my best to get her shopping.

I went to Sainsbury’s local, which didn’t stock everything... however ... I did get the last papaya. I was baffled as to why such a fruit would be so popular, when all it tastes of is mouldy feet.

I did my best to get everything and took the shopping to Mrs.N. She was so grateful and said she would remember me :). I was pleased to have helped .

After all that stress, there is only one cure DESSERT. Despite the promise to myself that I’m going to reduce my sugar intake and become a pinnacle of health... After all that stress and a very long walk, I was in need of a massive slab of chocolate cake.

Nice work Naomi, definitely sounds like a huge piece of chocolate cake was well deserved!
