Amazing efforts from everyone on their squat jumps! A great feel good factor song to dance along to. This weeks challenge was to get the song ‘happy’ by Pharrell on… run on the spot and each time to the word ‘happy’ was said to do a jump squat!

You make me Hap-pea

After only seeing the usual suspects sign up to this challenge, I sent a hap-appeal to the team to request a few more willing volunteers to dance their socks off…and because the team are just one in a minion…most of them obliged my hap-plea and got involved.

According to Darren, happy is sung 56 times! When else would you ever do 56 jump squats and when else would you have this much fun in 3 mins and 48 seconds?

Drop it like a squat

Jumping isn’t the best exercise for anyone with knee issues so I happily accepted any type of dynamic movement to get the heart rate up…Keira did her ‘drop it like a squat’, Milly did her ‘lightbulb dance’ and Meera, Nisha, Harsha and Sut got the whole family involved. Check out their action shots. Great to see the kids getting involved in these fitness sessions.
