Standing ovation for this pun please!! Thank you Paul!

It was a very wet and miserable start to this task today with Charlotte coming straight from Gateshead parkrun and looking like she swam there. It was brilliant to meet GoodGym's newest member Angela for her first good deed and what a good deed it was!

Brilliant task owner Kate met us at Byker lodge, a 20 bedroom supported accommodation for adults to support them with independent living. Kate was brilliantly organised and we were able to get straight into the job at hand: clearing paths of lots of overgrown ivy to make them safe for the residents. It was really satisfying to pull the ivy out, snip the tricky areas and bag it all up. The perfect way to de-stress a Saturday!

Today was my 200th GoodGym good deed and it was perfect in the mix of fabulous people, a great little workout and the knowledge that we made a difference... Check out the before and after photos! Hope you can join us to celebrate after the group run on Monday.
