Woodthorpe School Nature AreaWoodthorpe School are developing a nature garden for the children to experience wild plants and learn about nature. The pupils are working on the project, and once complete all children will be able to spend more time outdoors, learning about the natural environment. Goodgym's help will give a boost to the children and parent volunteers who are working hard to create the area.
Last week we will hopefully have dug out all the roots, so this week we will be barrowing material to make the paths. This could be bark or slate chippings, and they will need shovelling, barrowing and raking to make beautiful smooth pathways to allow people to easily access the garden.
Please bring gardening gloves, and dress in older clothes suitable for potentially getting muddy.
