Top of the Poppies

GoodGym were certainly top of the pops tonight, helping out Growing works to tidy the Dalton & Rawthorpe Library Community Garden.

Ben Godfrey and David Bilton shifted a mahoosive compost heap, whilst Kati Law, Louise Galvin and myself cut, pruned, weeded and generally tidied this lovely little spot.

There was certainly plenty to see, we admired artichokes, peered at the poppies, and coveted chard as we spent our hour doing good between frequent rain showers.
