Essex Welfare Service
Essex Welfare Service was mobilised in March 2020 in response to the Coronavirus crisis. The Service is commissioned by Essex County Council and delivered by Provide CIC in partnership with Priority Digital Health - a truly local service for local residents. It is designed for people who are without the support of family, friends or neighbours and the aim is to quickly and safely co-ordinate requests and referrals for support from vulnerable people in Essex and connect them to a fully vetted volunteer who wants to help their community during this difficult time. The service also delivers a remote stop smoking service and other community services previously delivered by the Essex Lifestyle Service.

Group run cancellation

Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations.

**All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future**

This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection.

Park in the Leisure World Car park, and then meet us in the reception area seating. Look out for GoodGym Runners in red T-shirts. There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Leisure World, and Leisure World and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
