Bramhall Park is a beautiful and well maintained park in the heart of Stockport. It is home to a picturesque hall and a wealth of wonderful foliage and The Friends of Bramhall Park work tirelessly to maintain the area. With Autumn leaves falling rapidly, clearing the pathways of leaves is a never ending, yet crucial task.

Our group run began at Life Leisure Bramhall and was supposed to be a short downhill mile run to The Park, however with our tanks full and festive lights and illuminated houses aplenty, we decided to add a little more mileage on to explore the festive delights.

We arrived at Bramhall Park and were greeted by the park's very own security guard - with gleaming beady eyes and a bushy tail. Fred the Fox 🦊

We found our spot, under a magnificent tree, not far from the main hall and got to work clearing and piling the fallen leaves and adding them to the ever growing compost pile which was a pic n mix of the estate's foliage.

We even felt the first spots of snow before winding our way back through the festive lit lanes, with talk of festive plans, The Worst Dad cooked tea and races booked.
