Ants Attack

Adam, Anne and James met at the Lighthouse where our mission was to clean the premises. Adam had run 5kmsbefore the task while Anne and James took an easier route. Holly could not join us as planned as she is still unwell and, unfortunately, Nick was working late.

It was good to come back to the food bank where we noticed a lot of improvements regarding the storage facilities (fridge, freezer, closed cupboards). We weregiven brand new large mops, which greatly facilitated our work.

The food bank in the Lighthouse is now open from Monday to Thursday (9:30 to 2:30) and their popularity is still very high. If you wish to donate some food, please look at their website:

The only little issue we faced this evening was the invasion of ants trying to attack the GG team… Thank goodness for good old “Henry” which put a stop to it all.

We ended the evening with a light meal and drinks in a local venue and the company was GoodGymtastic.

Next week we will meet at the WWF and we will run along the canal while picking up litter. If you have a SUP you may wish to bring it along.
