Five pickers arrived at Charlton and after a coffee at the cafe we headed off to all corners of the park to get a litter picking!

The park was buzzing with skaters, footballers and even groups of intrepid Duke of Edinburgh school children off on an adventure.

After an hour we all gathered back with our bags brimming with a variety of rubbish that we found across the park. Annie from the friends of Charlton park was pleased to see our efforts and we left the park much tidier than we found it.

Special find of the week was the second photo, a tiny plastic boot for a toy!
