Last of the Year

The rain fell early morning, fortunately by 8.15 it had stopped. That wasn’t to say it was dry under foot, indeed it was muddy! 278 people turned out for the last Parkrun of 2022 and there were lots of Parkwalkers, tourists and a number of first time park-runners, It was very mild which made it pleasant. Bill was funnel manager, Roisin timekeeper, Susanna was Barcode Scanner and I was on Finish Tokens. Everyone seemed to enjoy running off those Christmas meals from the last week, and we’re looking forward to seeing many more people tomorrow at our first Parkrun of 2023. Happy New Year everyone .
