Urban Growth Learning Gardens is a social enterprise that improves the well-being of Londoners through providing education, employment & environmental transformation.

The awesome team at Urban Growth are creating a new community garden near Camberwell on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st April.

They've asked for our help building:

  • 4 raised beds (and lining them and filling with soil)

  • A compost bin

  • Planting shrubs

Once these are up and running, the local community will be able to grow veg for themselves!

They are happy to have volunteers at any time during these days but I've listed different times in case you can attend morning/lunch/afternoon sessions - and there might be another GoodGymer present!

The task is at Fairholme House, 40 Kenbury Street and you'll be meeting Orsetta and probably a few other volunteers/Urban Growth staff.

Please bring gardening gloves and a mask!

Email me if you've got any questions - I hope it goes well! :)

How are you getting there?
