Brockwell Time Trial - APRIL
How much faster can you get?
Location
Brockwell ParkLondon
SE24 0PA
Date and time
09:00 - 09:30Log a Brockwell Park loop and then see if you can beat it at a special timed session.
Here's how it works:
- Jog to Brockwell (the Brixton Water Lane entrance) - use this as your warm up
- Set a phone/watch timer going and see how fast you can do one anticlockwise loop of the park (It's about 1.8km).
- Make a note of your time - stick it on this spreadsheet. Feel free to do as many of these as you like in preparation!
- Meet at the Brixton Water Lane entrance at 9am on April 25th and try and beat your first time. I'll do the timing so you can just peg it.
- See if you can beat it again in May?!
A couple of Strava segments to look out for:
GoodGym Lambeth Brockwell Bolt: should be right at the end of your loop - sprint finish duh.
Brockwell Park 1 lap North Gate entrance: Another way to find your time (but less accurate than using a timer probs).
v. important Covid guidelines - obviously when running round the park, keep your distance even if you have to cut a corner (you can take a wider angle on the next one 😉). When we do the proper shebang on April 25th, we can't hang around before and after for a chat (we'll have a nice long stretch/more exercises instead!).
