Bramble Bashing at Royd’s Hall Orchard

Saving the orchard’s apple trees for the local community to enjoy

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

The Friends of Royds Hall Orchard have asked GoodGym to help out by clearing some very pervasive brambles from their site. This task was originally scheduled for November but had to be postponed due to the lockdown.

The problematic brambles are threatening to take over the orchard and entirely overwhelm some of the apple trees there. So it’s all hands to the secateurs for a marathon session of bramble bashing.

Grab your gardening gloves and please bring some secateurs if you have some, that way we will stay Covid compliant and not need to share tools. Then walk, run or ride to Royds Hall School and we’ll work hard to get the orchard bramble free once again.

How are you getting there?
